The Bangalow Film Festival is a bold regional event celebrating cinema and storytelling in all its forms taking place in the quaint town of Bangalow in the NSW Northern Rivers region.

Featuring a curated program of Australian and international film premieres, live performances, industry talks, and meetings with special guests, the festival brings audiences together in Bangalow to discover critically acclaimed films and fresh creative voices.

Launched in 2011, BFF goes beyond the scope of traditional film festivals to serve as a regional cultural hub, positively involving local filmmakers and creatives through artistic commissions and collaborations, whilst developing the next

generations of filmmakers through partnerships with the NSW Department of Education, Screenworks and SAE.

Bangalow Film Festival is held on the lands of the Bundjalung Arakwal people of the Bundjalung nation.

We acknowledge these custodians, and the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia. We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and to Elders both past and present.

We recognise the continuing connection to lands, waters, skies, communities and stories.
