Festival Panel
'The Art of Documentary'

Wednesday 30th April
The Lumberyard Bangalow ( Opp A&I Hall )
6:30pm

Join us for an engaging conversation with seasoned documentary filmmakers as they explore the creative and technical processes behind crafting compelling real-world narratives.

The panel will be moderated by Cody Greenwood and features filmmakers Molly Reynolds and Eliza Cox, producer Veronica Fury (Wildbear Entertainment) and Paul Wiegard (CEO Madman).

Our expert panellists will share their insights on how to transform evocative stories into powerful, thought-provoking films that resonate with audiences.

They'll delve into the art of capturing truth through the lens, balancing storytelling with authenticity, and overcoming the unique challenges of documentary filmmaking.

Whether you're an aspiring filmmaker or simply a lover of documentaries, this discussion will offer valuable perspectives on the evolving art form and the impact it has on both society and cinema.

The panel discussion begins at 6:30pm, followed by networking drinks and finger food. The first fifty attendees to register receive complimentary drinks.

Bangalow Film Festival is held on the lands of the Bundjalung Arakwal people of the Bundjalung nation.

We acknowledge these custodians, and the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia. We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and to Elders both past and present.

We recognise the continuing connection to lands, waters, skies, communities and stories.
