Common Ground is the highly anticipated sequel to the juggernaut success documentary Kiss the Ground, which touched over 1 billion people globally and inspired the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to put $20 billion toward soil health.
By fusing journalistic exposé with deeply personal stories from those on the front lines of the sustainable food movement, Common Ground unveils the dark web of money, power, and politics behind our broken food system.
Narrated by a cast of Hollywood stars, including Laura Dern, Jason Momoa
Rosario Dawson, Ian Somerhalder, Woody Harrelson and Donald Glover, the film profiles a hopeful and uplifting movement of white, black and indigenous farmers who are using alternative regenerative models of agriculture that could balance the planet’s health before it’s too late.
The film is proudly supported by Farmers Footprint Australia.
Join us for a FREE kids planting workshop after the film. Hosted by Farmers Footprint, get your hands dirty, plant your very own seedlings to take home, all whilst learning all about how our soil, our gardens and our choices in food selection are making all the difference in benefits of transitioning to a more regenerative mindset and drive the need to steer our food system towards that future.
